How does an applicant apply for the Hypercard credit card?

Applying for a Hypercard can be easily and quickly done in one of two ways:

Through the Hypercard website: https://apply.hypercard.com and through the Hypercard In-app signup process (App will be available through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store).

Additionally, Hypercard will be issuing client company-specific cards that will display the colors and name of the client company as well as a dedicated landing page. In that case, the website URL of those cardholders will be the main Hypercard URL followed by [/the client company name].

For example, if the client company name is Acme, the URL will be https://www.hypercard.com/acme and the application website URL will be https://www.[clientname].hypercard.com/apply. Such as: https://www.acme.hypercard.com/apply

What are the eligibility requirements for a Hypercard credit card?

Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident currently living in the U.S., unless military personnel on active duty, in which case it is not required that the applicant be currently living in the US
Not be a resident of Arizona, Hawaii, Iowa or New Mexico
Be at least 18 years old and has certified that he/she is of legal borrowing age in the state of your primary residence
Have a valid email account
Have a verifiable name, date of birth, and social security number
Have income to support the overall debt obligation, for example: have a full-time job, a full-time job offer starting in 6 months, a regular part time job, or another source of regular income
Meet our minimum credit requirements

Note: we do accept applicants with insufficient credit history to produce a credit score.

What information is required to apply for a Hypercard credit card?

You will need to provide personal information, including your:

Full name
Social Security number
Date of birth
Physical address (No P.O. Boxes except APOs)
Phone
Income

Note: There may be times when applicants are asked to verify some of the information above at time of application. If verification is requested, applicants will be asked to submit within 30 days of the application start date; otherwise you will be asked to reapply.

How is income verified?

We will verify income via an authentication system called Plaid that can link up to your bank account to allow us to confirm your ability to meet monthly obligations including any new credit card payments.

What are the minimum credit requirements to receive a Hypercard credit card?

A successful Hypercard application requires a good credit score or a solid income that demonstrates an applicant’s ability to meet monthly payment obligations. Credit background checks are conducted by Experian.

NOTE: We do not accept applicants with insufficient credit history to produce a credit score; the FICO score is just one component of the application criteria that can impact the decision of the application.

How can the customer check the status of their credit card application?

To find out the status of your credit card application, check your email. We are unable to disclose any application status updates over the phone. You will be notified via email if our processing company, Deserve, requires additional information or if a decision has been made on your application.

Can the customer change the credit card application once submitted?

You will not be able to edit your application once it is submitted. Please be sure to verify your information prior to submitting. If you've made a mistake on your application, please reapply with the corrected information. If you wish to withdraw from the application process, please email support@hypercard.com and we can assist you with doing so.

How does applying for the Hypercard credit card affect the customer’s credit?

Going through the pre-qualification process to see if you qualify for a Hypercard credit card will not impact your credit score. If you proceed with your application after receiving an offer and rate, you must check the box agreeing to a hard pull of your credit and your credit score may be impacted by Deserve’s (our processing company) credit inquiry.

How is the credit line determined?

Your credit limit may be based on the amount of your existing lines of credit, credit history, credit score, and income, among other factors.

What fees are charged when using the Hypercard card?

Does this card offer cosigners or authorized users?

No, not at the current time; all credit card applications must be applied for in an individual name.

How can the application be withdrawn?

If you wish to withdraw from the application process, please email us support@hypercard.com and we can assist you with doing so. We are happy to withdraw your application; however, please note that we cannot delete your application or any of the supporting documentation that was submitted or collected during the application process at this time.

We handle all our customer data in accordance with all applicable laws and our Privacy Policy. What are the requirements to re-apply once the customer’s application has been declined?

No additional requirements are necessary to reapply. Please note,applicants are welcome to re-apply at any time.

Which credit bureaus does Hypercard report to?

Hypercard reports to Experian credit bureau.

How often does Hypercard report my account to the credit bureaus?

Hypercard reports your account once a month, typically the day after your billing cycle ends. Depending on the credit reporting agency, it can take up to five business days for your credit report to reflect your statement information.
